Heralded as “the most glamorous night of the year,” this Pittsburgh Opera fundraiser featured performances by established stars as well as some new faces of the opera. Held in the Opera’s industrial chic ballroom, the event’s tone was set by warm lighting that softened the exposed brick walls and steel girders. In a striking installation that recalled the city’s famous bridges, LUXE crisscrossed the venue’s high ceiling with over a mile of thick sisal rope. A section of the Opera’s garage was transformed into a luxurious VIP room, rendered unrecognizable with elegant lighting and over one thousand yards of rippling fabric. The event raised over $375,000 for the Opera and was featured by numerous media outlets.
